  abstract      = {This paper describes a concept of a client/server system for acquiring, filtering and storing of information from active and passive information sources in the Internet. Server is responsible for the process of acquiring and filtering of incoming information from Internet, which is based on the data included in users' profiles. Thus server acts as Internet-Intranet gateway. Clients provide users with tools for defining their profiles and support management of incoming informations. }
