  abstract      = {Development of information systems of enterprises can be seen as extending the role of computers in management. Computers are not only calculators used periodically or information store or communication tools but also reasoning machines. As result of systematical and methodological progress economists are delivered with better and better information tools. Intelligent information systems make possibility to solve more complex management tasks. Informatization is faced to tasks executed by managers of business organizations that are treated as intelligent tasks. To that tasks belongs economical diagnosis. Aim of the paper is to perspectives of construction of effective strategies controlling reasoning processes in economic diagnosis tasks. There are explained concepts of economic diagnosis, intelligent economic diagnosis and requirements what good intelligent diagnosis should and formalization of diagnostic strategies for model-based diagnostic systems. Considerations are illustrated by an example of formalisation of preference in default logic.}
