  abstract      = {The DIANA-9 software package, developed at the Instytut Badan Systemowych PAN, allows the exhaustive diagnostic analysis of a management system. Results obtained can be used as data for organizational improvement and change modelling. Verification of  the effectiveness of a new organizational model is also possible. In addition, the package creates automatically a C-language information subsystem for specified company activities. During a company reengineering process the DIANA-9 package can provide the examination of different strategies, so it is possible to adapt an organizational structure to a selected one. This paper describes the DIANA-9 methodology and selected examples of the package implementation.}
