  abstract      = {Over the years, the Internet has proved to be a convenient and robust platform for information distribution and recently also for implementation of various kinds of applications. The Internet is everywhere. It provides practically unlimited amounts of information to everybody who is technically prepared to access it, thereby changing the whole world society into a global information society. The Internet is a real revolution in computer technology. But the Internet seems only to be a starting point for something even more significant. It is the Intranet which is currently the main focus of many information scientists, developers, and software production companies. An Intranet is a kind of internal Internet. It is the use of Internet technology to organize the work of an enterprise. Intranets work on private networks, they are appropriately secured, and usually disconnected or connected in a limited way to the Internet.}
