  abstract      = {This paper seeks to evaluate several proposals across organisations and industrie, reported in the current body of literature and explores the organisational factors, which are critical to the success of Internet banking.  Understandably, different pieces of literature report different factors as a key to success in the reported context.   This paper synthesises this existing research and proposes a theoretical framework to facilitate strategic decision making about Internet banking.  The paper concludes that organisations need to view the Internet banking initiative as a business critical area rather that just a technical issue. Organizations are also needed to pay more attention to internal integration and improving the overall services to customers that might help to achieve competitive advantage. }
