  abstract      = {In this paper, we propose a probabilistic model for evaluating the security of multi-agent distributed systems.  This approach uses the privilege graph to model the system's vulnerabilities.  Based on the analysis of the security threats faced by the agents and the hosts, we can calculate the characteristic measure of the system security - Mean Effort To Failure (METF).  We also provide a set of theories for analyzing the security and simplifying the generated privilege graph.}
