  abstract      = {Ontology mapping intends to define how data specified according to an ontology (source ontology) may be transformed into data specified according to another ontology (target ontology). MAFRA framework aims to cover all phases of the ontology mapping process, including discovery of similarities between elements in ontologies and selection and specification of required transformations. MAFRA implementation adopts a mapping declarative strategy in the sense that no procedural implementation is required. Its implementation adopts an open architecture in order to maximize and answer Semantic Web requirements. MAFRA is being developed in the context of KAON and is being applied in the European project Harmonise, which aims to provide solutions for (semi-) automatic interoperability between major operators in tourism e-business.}
