TOPIC OF INTEREST
This special session is intended as forum for papers at the intersection
of the fields of Information Technology and Economics, focusing on
problems of retrieval and filtering of information from the World Wide
Web. The following areas exemplify the extent of the topic:
| Economic search in the Web environment |
| Economic basis for adaptive filtering |
| Retrieval by economic software agents |
| Economic aspects of Web page design |
| Advertising in electronic commerce |
| The Web as information source for business |
The session aims at bringing together academics and practitioners, and
invites papers ranging from formal analyses to strategic discussions and
case studies.
SUBMISSION CATEGORIES

Regular papers - up to 5000 words |
|
Work-in-progress - up to 2500 words |
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
|
Papers in either Microsoft Word or RTF file format should be submitted via
e-mail to Violetta Galant (galant@manager.ae.wroc.pl)
in two separate files each: the cover page and the main text. |
|
The cover page should include the title of the paper,
abstract, and the names, affiliations, addresses, and e-mail addresses
of its authors. |
|
The main text should begin with the title of the paper
followed by an abstract of up to 60 words. Figures within the text
should be in gray scale and should not measure more than 11.8 by 19.2
cm including subtitles. |
|
It is understood that by submitting a paper the
authors automatically grant the Conference Organizers all copyright
for its publication in the proceedings. |
|
The authors of an accepted paper will be expected to
prepare its final version in time for its inclusion in the conference
proceedings and to present it at the conference. |
|
Please note: Only registered authors' papers will be
included in the proceedings. All panel, workshop, and symposium
members are expected to register and pay the conference fee. |
