TOPIC OF INTEREST
Poland is currently adjusting its legal system to the EU standards. In
this process the use of information systems takes more and more important
role.
The 5th International Conference on Business Information Systems (BIS
2002) is being organized to provide a forum for the exchange and
dissemination of research in the development, implementation, application
and improvement of computer systems for business purposes.
The purpose of this special session is to provide a special forum for
and gather all who are interested in legal information technology and
legal information systems issues.
Therefore we plan to focus our session on:

papers must be submitted electronically to Erich
Schweighofer (erich.schweighofer@univie.ac.at)
in either Microsoft Word or RTF file format; we do not accept hard
copies |

language of publication: English |
|
about 60-word abstract should be included at the
beginning of the paper |
|
the cover page must include title, abstract, authors'
names, affiliations, complete addresses, and e-mail addresses |
|
following the paper's submission, it is automatically
understood that all the organizational approvals for the publication
of it have been granted to the Conference Organizers |
|
all panel, workshop, symposium members must register
and pay the conference fee (note: only registered authors' papers will
be included in the proceedings) |
|
the authors will prepare the final manuscript in time
for its inclusion in conference proceedings and will present the paper
at the conference |
IMPORTANT DATES
Dec. 15, 2001 - submission deadline for long and short papers
Feb. 15, 2002 - notification of acceptance/rejection
Mar. 15, 2002 - submission of final papers after correction
Apr. 24-25, 2002 - the conference
