TOPICS OF INTEREST
This workshop is devoted to business opportunities provided by new
challenging area, namely, Virtual Reality (VR).
This workshop will be mainly, but not exclusively, focused on:

dynamic VR applications, |
|
modeling of VR environments, |
|
languages for VR systems, |
|
database support for VR applications, |
|
transmission and broadcasting of VR, |
|
computer vision techniques for VR applications, |
|
reconstruction of real environments in VR, |
|
hardware and software for VR, |
|
combining VR with multimedia data, and |
|
interaction techniques in VR applications. |
This workshop will be a forum where researchers share
their experience with businessmen interested in future areas of business
activity and looking for new business opportunities.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
|
a paper cannot exceed 5000 words |
|
papers must be submitted electronically to the
Workshop Organizing Committee (walczak@kti.ae.poznan.pl) in either
Microsoft Word or RTF file format; we do not accept hard copies |
|
language of publication: English |
|
about 60-word abstract should be included at the
beginning of the paper |
|
the cover page must include title, abstract, authors'
names, affiliations, complete addresses, and e-mail addresses |
|
following the paper's submission, it is automatically
understood that all the organizational approvals for the publication
of it have been granted to the Conference Organizers |
|
all panel, workshop, symposium members must register
and pay the conference fee (note: only registered authors' papers will
be included in the proceedings) |
|
the authors will prepare the final manuscript in time
for its inclusion in conference proceedings and will present the paper
at the conference |
IMPORTANT DATES
Dec. 15, 2001 - submission deadline for papers
Feb. 15, 2002 - notification of acceptance/rejection
Mar. 15, 2002 - submission of final papers after correction
Apr. 24-25, 2002 - the conference
