Web information and content extraction is an emerging field of research demonstrated by the growing number of both research papers published and the tools that facilitate such processes.
With current trend for mash-up applications and bringing together content from different sources, the need for robust extraction methods is increasing.
The goal of this workshop is to bring researchers and practitioners together to explore the issues and challenges related to information extraction from the Web. We plan to address not only the current state of the art but also discuss the future.

Submission
- Long papers: max. 5000 words
- Work-in-progress rep.: max. 2500 words
- Position papers: max. 2500 words

Papers must be submitted in either Word or PDF format, according to the ACM SIG proceedings template (http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.htm).
The proceedings will be published as CD-ROM with ISBN number and on-line at CEUR WS.org workshop proceedings publication service.
Extended version of selected articles submitted to the workshop will be published in selected journals.
