Organizers of workshop on Time in Business Scenarios (part of BIS 2007 International Conference) invite researchers and practitioners to submit papers that demonstrate or validate applicability of temporal knowledge bases (temporal ontologies, temporal business rules, temporal knowledge representation languages etc. ) or other temporal-based systems in real life business scenarios. The main goal of the workshop is to bridge the existing gap between research and business communities by reinforcing mutual communication on: business and technological requirements, major obstacles for introducing temporal technologies, current trends and existing projects.

  • Temporal Knowledge Management, Representation and Reasoning for Business
  • Temporal Business Rules
  • Business-Driven Requirements for Temporal-Based Systems
  • Technological and Business Architectures of Temporal-Based Systems
  • Formal Modelling of Temporal Aspects in time-critical business scenarios

Submission

  • Long papers: max. 5000 words
  • Work-in-progress rep.: max. 2500 words
  • Position papers: max. 2500 words

Papers must be submitted in either Word or PDF format, according to the ACM SIG proceedings template (http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.htm).

The proceedings will be published as CD-ROM with ISBN number and on-line at CEUR WS.org workshop proceedings publication service.

  • March 20, 2007 - notification about acceptance/rejection
  • April 4, 2007 - submission of final papers
