Submission Guidelines

 

  • papers must be submitted electronically to the Organizing Committee (bis2004@kie.ae.poznan.pl) in either Microsoft Word, RTF file format; we do not accept hard copies [MsWord template] [pdf template]


  • language of publication: English


  • about 60-word abstract should be included at the beginning of the paper


  • the submitted paper should be accompanied by a cover page [download] (download it and fill it in)


  • following the paper's submission, it is automatically understood that all the organizational approvals for the publication of it have been granted to the Conference Organizers


  • all panel, workshop, symposium members must register and pay the conference fee (note: only registered authors' papers will be included in the proceedings)


  • the authors will prepare the final manuscript in time for its inclusion in conference proceedings and will present the paper at the conference

Please indicate in the Cover Page whether the paper is submitted to the general session or to one of the tracks or special sessions. Depending on the number of submissions, the organizers reserve the right to move an accepted paper to a different track or to a special session from the general session.


SUBMISSION CATEGORIES

  • Long papers - up to 5000 words

  • Work-in-progress papers - up to 2500 words
IMPORTANT DATES
  • Dec 1, 2003 - submission deadline for long and work-in-progress papers to be published in refereed proceedings
  • Feb 15, 2004 - notification of acceptance/rejection
  • Mar 10, 2004 - submission of final papers
  • Apr 21-23, 2004 - the conference
