Francesco Archetti is a Full Professor of the Analysis of Financial Systems and Operations Research at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Milan-Bicocca, deputy of the Rector for Research, Innovation and Technology Transfer, and chairman of the Committee for Patents and Spin-off Companies. Earlier in his career, he have worked with major Italian groups such as FIAT and Finmeccanica, SMEs and institutional entities for the construction of research infrastructures. He participated in numerous research projects at various levels: regional (Trade, Park-ID, h2o leaks, NEDD, Smeller), national (Bayes, Wyomics, Slim, Impulse, Greek, e-JRm, PRIMM) and european (Improd, Jumas, Wisper, lenvis, Proactive). Francesco Archetti is an author of over 60 publications on an international level and carries out teaching activities in the degree course in Computer Science (with courses in Financial Systems Analysis and Decision Support Systems) and in the degree course in Biotechnology (with the Bioinformatics course).
