Intelligent Information Management
During the last day of BIS 2009 (Wednesday, April 29), we will host Dr. Márta Nagy-Rothengass, Head of Unit "Technologies for Information Management" of European Commission. Dr. Nagy-Rothengass will give a keynote talk targeted at universities and companies that plan to submit proposals to calls 4 and 5 of 7th Framework Programme. The talk will be followed by a presentation and discussion of exemplary proposals prepared by BIS participants and by a networking session. Altogether, this event will be an excellent occasion to improve project ideas based on specific hints given by Dr. Nagy-Rothengass and on discussion with audience, and to build or extend consortia around these ideas.
This event is free of charge for all BIS participants (including BIS workshops authors); for all people that do not take part in BIS Conference but are interested in this event, a special fee of 100 PLN applies. The registration form is available here.
People interested in presenting their proposals during the event should contact us at bis@kie.ue.poznan.pl not later than on April 20 (please provide us with the working title and short description of your proposal).
This event will be split into three sessions:
